Future hubby brought me up to the Lakes again to see some of his favourite places.
Car was left in Stonethwaite and we camped a mile up river on an island. Many opportunities for swimming along Langstrath on the following day before arriving at Angle Tarn - a gloomy camp site. Left the gloom behind by clambering up Bowfell - good evening summit views. Pottered down Eskdale the following day before climbing into Little Narrowcove - another gloomy campsite. Ran back to Stonethwaite over Broad Crag Col and down the Corridor Route to Seathwaite and beyond in misty weather. Slightly footsore on return to the car.
