Definitely wearing the socks! Your ankles have to be exposed for the manacles to be secured properly. If I had known that I would have worn sandshoes and not boots (and needless to say different socks!) The other downside is the platform is made up of very sharp metal mesh- very painful through your socks!

WOW - kudos to you Polly, I tried this once and will NEVER do it again - I have made a number of solo parachute jumps with no problems but bungee ........... NEVER, NEVER again
