I followed the route as described on WH without getting lost thanks to clear views :D

The first part along the forestry track was quite enjoyable in sunshine and mild temperature with great views towards the Beinn Dearg Munros.

After crossing the bridge were I had a little chat with a hunter who headed for the moor the path became boggier and the sky darker which made this part of the walk to Creag Dhubh Fannaich a bit moody.

Gaining heights the clouds lifted and the sun came out again and the nice views around made the walk to Beinn Liath Mhòr Fannaich more entertaining

When I saw the next target I hold my breath a little bit considering the steep line towards the next summit -- however the sunshine and the views made the effort up.

Once up Sgùrr Mòr rain clouds suddenly drifted in and quickly surrounded the summit. Now I was exposed to the cold wind which so far I wasn't aware of because it was in my back. I found some shelter at the huge cairn and watched the rain showers swirling around the summit while I got only a few drops, surprisingly.

It didn't take too long until the rain subsided so I resumed my walk towards Meall nan Pethirean, hoping for lesser wind further down - in vain. It kept cloudy and the strong wind from the east made the walk along the bealach uncomfortable. I kept more to the middle to avoid the steeper terraces while a couple coming towards me was going along the edge of the ridge, so no hello. Apart from the hunter and another couple which has overtaken me running on the forestry track these two had been the only walkers I have met during whole walk.

Thus on my own in this isolated place and with a rainy sky and the cold crosswind the walk along the ridge over Creachan Rairigidh and towards Meall Gorm became a bit of a slog.

But once at the wide Bealach Ban direction had changed a bit so that I wasn't exposed to the cold wind any more. This cheered me up and gave me new energy for the last ascent over the grassy slopes to Munro Nr 4: An Coileachan.

At the plateau it became windy and cold again, therefore I soon took off to descend to Loch Gorm. The descent was shockginly steep over loose stones, slippery and pretty boggy in places  and it took all my concentration to get me down safe and in one piece.

Once down the relief was muted by the outlook of another boggy slog. There were different traces of paths and I was too tired for another ascent, so I chose the boggy-worn-out path below Meallan Buidhe.
The rest of the walk over this wild moor was very exhausting

no words for this

I was very happy to finally reaching the bridge again and being back on solid ground -- However: I have made it!
Once back on the track all struggle was soon forgotten as usual and happily I drove back to Ullapool Hostel where a nice sunset and a supper in good company warmed me up again :D

Remember doing this walk in the late eighties - don't remember any forestry then. it's also in Ralph Storer's "best 100 walks.
But surely it was The Munro Beinn Liam Mhor Fannich that you climbed not the Corbet across the way.
Particularly recall the long boggy walk back from An Coleacan :(

Of course you are right concerning the Corbett. I don't know how that got in.
Correction done
