A fine afternoon that promised a fine sunset that was not to be. However, still a good short walk with not much time to do it in so probably did something for fitness.

It was an enjoyable short drive over with a fine array of cloud adorning the blue sky.

Tillymorgan beckons. At this point I fear I am running out of time to get to the summit for what will no doubt be a dazzling sunset but has been difficult to resist photographing the clouds formations on the way there.

Image
I startt my ascent but the sun is already dipping into the cloud on the western horizon. Oh well, better get a move on I thought.

View of the Buck and Foudland Hill from near the top.

Managed to reach the trig point in daylight.

Image
View south of Bennachie adorned with wind turbines.

Image
Not much on the way of sunset colours but it is a good viewpoint for the surrounding countryside.

Rush hour.
