Another fantastic day on the Wainwrights

Pavey Ark and Harrison Stickle , be on you soon

Followed Wainwrights route up the North side- east side . A fair bit of loose scree to contend with and a wee bit of hands on. Nothing too technical

Almost at the top of Pavey Ark now,

Sat on Pavey Ark for a bit before heading over the short distance and short ascent to Thunacar Knott.

From here it was an out and back to High Raise.

High Raise summit

Nothing to say much about the walk up there but from the top, the views were great , with Skiddaw prominent to the north and
Great Gable and co. prominent to the west.

Skiddaw

On the return I cut off SW before thunacar knott and picked up a path to pike oʻstickle.
Gave it a good look before the wee scramble/ climb up to the summit.

Next up, the short climb up Pike oʻStickle

Back down, gingerly and onto Loft Crag and more good views.

Seemed as if it had suddenly got busy up here.
Lots of people coming and going and this was to stay the same as I descended from here and made my way round and steeply up to Harrison Stickle.

Cut down on the wee scree path to the large cairn, then over some boulders and onto the good pitched path which takes you down to the tarn again.
