We're now in the realm of utter pointlessness.

This route is absolutely unnecessary and nobody is doing it. However, I apparently had nothing better to do so here I was, at Glen Dye at dawn in order to do this monstrosity of a route out and back to absolutely nothing of any significance.

Going up Clachnaben was fine; people, footprints upon footprints, a majestic target. Beyond Clachnaben though, ridiculous. The objective is to just keep going 7km to the west, where there is absolutely nothing. No footprints. No people. Nothing.

Don't bother with Battock. You're not missing anything.

What is the point of my presence here? Can I just teleport back to the car now?

Absolutely destroyed for no reason

Ok, in all honesty, I did it because Battock had been burning a hole in the back of my mind for weeks. Also a case of climbing the walls to get out over Christmas. This route though... Be prepared mentally as well as physically.
