The great weather from last week was still around, so headed for the hills on a Tuesday for once, instead of the normal Thursday. Lovely drive over the Ben Lawers reserve from Killin and even more lovely up Glen Lyon.

Managed to get started a little after 10 am and quickly had to get into it, as the path rises steeply from the dam. Very easy path to follow but steep. Excuse to take many photos!

Its a steep slog up the path/stream -glad its been so dry as this might have been boggy. Made good time and was rewarded with views of the Lochan from the top of the ridge.

The walk along the ridge to the summit is lovely - with great views all around.

It was a pretty quick trip up the final climb and the view back down to the lochan was brilliant.

The plan was do go up Meall Budhie so turned around pretty quick, but the steep descent was slow and hard on the knees!

Views were still great though.

This was a great hike and weather allowed for superb views, can see why 4 stars on WH.
