This was a fine short walk in the Angus Glens. I'm not quite sure if it should be classified as being in Glen Prosen or Glen Uig, as it's near the 'junction' where Glen Uig pares off.

I parked up on the verge of the single track road in pleasant weather.

The walk initially starts on a good land rover track which leads up to Long Goat.

Looking west to the impressive Airlie Tower.

And SW over the flatlands of Angus.

Image

A bit of a grunt and we were on the top of Long Goat.

Image

And it's tiny wee marker cairn.

A round looking Cat Law from Long Goat.

The skies looked a bit angry to the South.

Molly wasn't too impressed being on Cat Law!!

We descended NE where all the rounded bumps ahead have names like Bodandare Hill, Monthrey, and Cormaud.

Image

A distant Mount Blair.

And nice views as we headed back to the road for a bit of tarmac leading back to the car.
