This one went pretty much as WH says about the route, except for one thing, we found it very wet going up till it got steep at the final ascent, wasn't too bad going along the top to the second cairn, had to dodge the worst bits and it was fine going down from mid hill till it started to level off after going over fence into a field and then it was really wet again.
Got my feet wet for bringing lightweight boots rather than my heavy ones.
The great views took my mind off them though.
Weather was good up to first top, then clouded over somewhat with spots of rain. It then brightened up as we walked down. Very little wind so didn't even have jackets on.
Good walk in the hills but the road walk back seems to be longer than it actually is.
The hill from the footbridge.

Looking back over Luss before going through trees.

Ben Lomond and a stop for 11ses at first break in climb

Looking back over Loch Lomond where the path starts a steeper climb

The first cairn, Beinn Dubh

Looking back to Beinn Dubh from the second cairn

Glen Douglas and Arrochar beyond from small third cairn

The path dropping steeply down to Glen Luss from Mid Hill.

Nice one, my first hillwalk was this! Seems like the weather is clearing up around Loch Lomond too. Best views I've seen in weeks there! :)
