Beinn Glass / Ben Lawers on a driech day

Managed to get into double figures completing the above in challenging weather conditions in the Loch Tay area.

Not having done too many Munros, I'm not really inclined to make repeat journeys, but would make an exception here. NIce general surroundings ( I'd recommend the Capercaille cafe in KIllin ), good car park, easily identifiable path and ( after my Schiehallion experience ! ) pleasant underfoot.

The only challenge was the weather itself, for much of the ascent, you couldn't see for more than about 50m; but at the risk of sounding a masochist, there is the challenge of dealing with that. Steady as you go !

Not too many views then, but elsewhere on this page - THANK YOU MG1976 - there is an illustration of what a quiz show host would put it, ' this is what you would have won ! '

Cheers,

Michael

Glad you enjoyed the picture from my day out - I guess I was just lucky to get such a good day. I have it on good account that the cafe you recomend IS INDEED worth a visit. That's where my missus spend some of the afternoon while she was waiting for me to get off the hills.
