We left camp around noon on the Tuesday and arrived at the start point at 12.45 after a simple well cooked breakfast but there was a bit of a change in the weather

thats scottish weather for ye !!! This time Jesie was after the Sky Larks and anything else with wings .After crossing the burn and making our way up in a north-east direction as the route zig-zags and steepens the wind got alot stronger and we seen the first sign of mist but could still see the peak of Beinn Glas

Break Time ...
and stopped for a 10 min break with a boulder as a shelter ..
After our break we plodded on up the steep path to the summit of Beinn Glas in even damper mistier weather was comming in but still managed to break a sweat gettin up there

Jessie doing her Mountain dog pose !!!
and was surprised to see quite a few cars building up in the carpark below .
Looking across the Belach to Ben Lawers there war no sign of the summit covered in the mist now getting blown all around it from the rather high winds but we carried on anyway looking forward to what was ahead

Wheres the Summit ???

Climbing up the steep path was hard going and Diane was saying it might be better in this kinda weather as th sun would have us sweating like god knows what but after about 3 hrs we got to the summit and met a few nice ppl who voulantered to take a snapshot for us

Comming down was so much easier especially comming round the foot of Beinn Ghlas after turning right just as we reached the Belach at the bottom of Ben Lawers..
Even looking back and taking a pic of the line of mist still hanging around the summit

.
That was a very good climb we all enjoyed but was tough at the same time just a shame about the weather and the lack of views from the top ( couldnt see a thing )

Shame about the weather :(

If it's any consolation I got identical conditions when I was up there! :( :(
