Liathach The Big Grey One

Headed up the path from Glen Torridon, which was steep and involved a wee bit of scrambling to reach the ridge. Once on the ridge i made my way across the tops to the first then second Munro. There was scrambling and it was rocky at times and narrow on the path but in my opinion nothing to worry about, just a case of being carefull and watching your footing. The hardest bit for me was the initial descend off Mullach an Rathain, which was down a steep scree path. All in it was a superb walk and i got the perfect day for it, 20+ Degrees with a cool breeze on the ridge. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking now.

Thanks guys, try if you can to save this one for a fine day and may i suggest after traversing the ridge to about turn and retrace your steps back along the ridge. This can only enhance the walk and probably add no more than 1 hour onto the walk, that's how i plan to do it when i return.

Love this mountain; and any day spent on it with weather like this is a day you'll remember forever :)

Stunning pics...

The slopes seem to be recovering from the fire pretty well... :)
