An afternoon on Glamaig.

Since Rolling Stone was heading to Sligachan for the annual dash up the Glamaig I hitched a ride to Sconser to do a wee traverse of the hill. From the old road which loops through the hamlet I was informed by a lady from the J.W's.that the access to the hill was through the 'plot 17 church' entrance which seemed to be the only run down plot of all in the area. Good pleasant uphill walking to a wee scrambly section which allows you to reach the top of An Coileach, afterwards there follows, a bonny short traverse, to the top of Sgurr Mhairi.
After a wet night and biting insects at Sligachan camping and fairly gloomy Sunday weather I will have to return for the Broadford 'red ones' and for the Bealach Udal tops when the weather is more settled!
