Paul Webster wrote:Nice... seems like we've all been to Barra lately. We met MountainStar on the ferry on Sunday, now back home wishing I was still there (far too good a day coming back on the ferry Wednesday). Still, a wee Barra section is taking shape.

Cheers Paul - as I said in earlier post - I think I could find plenty to do on Barra

Just back from a weeks cycling holiday in Barra and South Uist and opened up the reports on the various walks

My first visit to both areas and I fully endorse the many favourable compliments that have been made on this forum

Although most of the time I was cycling I enjoyed a few walks on Vatersay and the machair on theWest Coast of South Uist staying in the Dunard hostel in Castlebay and Uist travel lodge and bunkhouse in Dalburgh
both excellent choices

As Gen McArthur said " We will return "
