Glas Maol Munros circuit

Almost a perfect day for walking, being sunny, light breeze, clear skies and hot (maybe just a bit too hot). Walk started with a nice gentle ascent towards Carn an Tuirc, then was a very steep ascent via some loose stones - tough in the heat as we had trousers on to protect legs through the longer grass / heather. Good views from top of the munro and a chance to remove zip-off's and long sleeves to keep cooler.
Took the detour to view Loch Kander, well worth it.
Fairly straightforward walk to Cairn of Claise, nice in the good weather and blue skies. We walked down to the ridge edge and had lunch while watching to large herds of deer in the glen below - stunning!!
a steady climb towards Glas Maol through one low cloud, not a lot to see atop this one as it is a bit flat and featureless.
A good walk along the ridge towards Creag Leacach, which has a very stoney (and loose at that) ascent and descent.
The descent down to the river was very steep in places, and wet making it slippy - kept you focused !!
We took the lower path at the river which was 'missing' in places making it an interesting walk towards the road (A93).
The hill towards the ski centre felt tough at the end of the walk but enjoyed the 2km walk down back towards the parking area for the start of the walk. Great walk, great weather, pleased with time taken and the stunning views for most of the walk.
