What can I say about this walk that hasn't been said already, I had been checking the forecast over the past few days and it didn't disappoint, turned out to be perfect walking weather, the boggy conditions up through the woods was a bit of a slog but once out onto the open it became more enjoyable, it was my first big walk since the end of April when I injured my knee during a river crossing up in the cairngorms, but no problems and it felt fine, the only cause for concern was a few bouts of cramp in my thighs as i made my way up Ben Oss, first time I have had that problem when walking and it was damn painful but the brilliant views from the summits made it all worth while, after reading a few walk reports for Ben Lui i decided to put it on my to do list but just viewing it from Ben Oss made me feel giddy so i think that one is a bit out of my comfort zone, i've got the second two weeks in august off so here's hoping i can get another few days like this, weather permitting of course. One thing, no midges today, i was quite surprised, are they in decline this year, not that I'm complaining mind you.

Nice pictures rogers, seems like an age since I did these but it was only last month.
You got great weather for it. I bet that ascent of Ben Oss from that side was a killer. Remember coming down it thinking I was glad to be going that way. :)
