Great idea Allan. I didn't realise how big Killin was. Looks like a brill place for a holiday, plenty of pubs and shops- enjoy! :D

Another enjoyable read and interesting title polly (missed it first time round due to holidays and I don't have a smart phone thingy for going online). :D Glen Lochay approach certainly gives you the views - I did the other standard approach from Auchessan in Glen Dochart in the south despite the reports of bogs - an enjoyable walk with good views all round - cheers

Thanks Rockhopper. I was on Ben Challum on Sunday and it was a real bogfest!!! If we were in 'It's a Knockout' I would definitely have played my Joker on finding the deepest bog to sink into- double points for me!!! Jeux Sans Frontiers here I come!!!

A timely report this Polly, as I still have these two to do. My 'local' hills are running a bit thin these days and I'm having to travel further and further to get ticks off the list. These two keep jumping out as blots on my munro map and I'm thinking I may need to do something about it, having done the other hills close by.

You may just have pursuaded me to push them up the list, but I'm not sure about finishing the day with pear and fennel soup though. A good pint or two would be more up my street
