Arrived at the locked gate just before 9, got my pass then drove to the power station where i dropped off the bike for the return leg along the road back to the car. I then drove the 6km to where i'd start the walk, taking the track that goes around Beinn na Muice, which soon becomes a path. I stayed on the path till just after the waterfall, where i left it to climb up onto Beinn na Muice's east ridge, a steep climb but thankfully not a long one and once you're on the ridge it's a pleasant walk to the summit. I took some photos of the great views then made my way back down to the path, which takes you all the way up to the ridge between Sgurr na Fearstaig & Sgurr Fhuar-thuill.It was now a short walk to the first Munro, then onwards along the ridge over the 1030m top and upto the second Munro, Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais. There are two large cairns on this summit along with a trig point, i visited all 3 just to make sure but the trig point appears to be the true summit. It's not clear from the summit which route you take to the third Munro as it looks to be steep all round but a quick look at the map shows the north east ridge is the way to go. So off i headed following the ridge to Carn nan Gobhar, where i had lunch before making my way to the final Munro. The route to the final Munro is down the broad ridge towards shabhach and then up Sgurr na Ruaidhe north west ridge. It's on this ridge that the path disappears, up till now it was path all the way, and could be difficult in bad weather. From the summit you head south west down the initially ok but then becoming very muddy and boggy till you reach the track that takes you to the finish. I met a guy who was doing the route in reverse but i'd recommend the route i took as, with the exception of Beinn na Muice, the path is better at the start. Think you're better having soggy feet at the finish rather than the start.
