Great stuff Polly, I love the fact that you are always smiling when out on the hills - you are a great ad for outdoor life (or a bloody good actress  )

That's a bummer. The sooner you get back to work the better, look what your colleagues in Johnstone have had to deal with!!!

Scramble was fun, especially since the rocks were dry. There's a path to the right that means you can miss out parts of it if you want. I quite enjoyed it! It was a bit slippery on the way down because of a quick downpour so I just bummed my way over the dodgy bits. You'll have no problems. The other hill requires very little effort at all. I think its more of a challenge if you do the ridge walk. I'd definitely look forward to doing it that way in better weather :D

Enjoyed your report and pics very much. The title grabbed my attention as I have a book of that title by the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team - an excellent read as well.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'll have a look out for the book. You certainly would want friends, definitely not enemies, in high places!!!
