This was the start of a 2 day trip, staying at Culra bothy, with the first day taking in the 4 Munros and the next 2 the following day. So after cycling in from Dalwhinnie i had the 3 rooms to choose from so i picked the big one.I then emptied the rucksack and was off walking by 11.30, rather than go straight up from the bothy i took the path, leaving it to climb to Diollaid a' Chairn then heading up the ridge to Carn Dearg. I then retraced my steps and followed the ridge and onto the plateaux to Geal Charn. From here it was another ridge walk to Aonach Beag and then onto Beinn Eibhinn. From Beinn Eibhinn i descended around the west of Glas Choire eventually picking up the path from Corrour, i followed this path then picked up the path that took me back to the bothy. There are paths on this walk but they more or less disappear on most of the plateauxs as they were quite stony with grass, not unless i just couldn't find them. My map was out for a lot of this walk due to the low cloud checking i was heading in the right direction. On one occasion when going from Aonach Beag to Beinn Eibhinn i had to double back as i'd went slighty too far round the ridge.Today was a bad day weather wise with the low cloud, rain and no views. Tomorrow was to be a differant story though.

Mmmm......Johnny, me thinks I fancy this one as a return to my bothying days. Is Culra bothy right next to where it says Culra Lodge on the map? Looking forward to your day 2. . :D
