Walkhighlands Kintail meet-up: 9 of us set off from the Cluanie Inn to do the South Glen Shiel Ridge on a wet and windy morning. Nice to get out for a walk with some of the gang, I will certainly miss these events. 6 of us came decided to call it a day after the second munro, while Graeme, Polly, and Thomas decided to give the ridge a go. Not a bad walk up to the first hill and the path is great. Going down off Druim Shionnach was good for a while, but then the bog came as we got nearer to the Cluanie. On a nicer day, I think we would have continued on, but it is a long, long route and heading down for a pint in the pub seemed to be the best idea for the six of us.
