Ben More, Stob Binnein and bad weather

Having been in Glasgow on Friday I was not going to waste the opportunity so headed to Crianlarich, slept in the van and set off at 7am with great enthusiasm.
Ben More is an easy route to follow - straight uphill! And everything I had read and been told about it was completely true - "unrelenting", "a beast", " a grueler". Its 1000 metres of pure hell! At least it felt like that to me at that early hour.
Having been roasted alive with my gear on in the rain further down, I was almost frozen to the bone when I reached the summit. So it was coat off, another layer on, coat back on, gloves on - never a pleasant experience!
No time was wasted at any point so it was on to Stob Binnein. Unbelievably the cloud began to break up a little.
The climb up Stob Binnein was easier than Ben More but still a tough nut to crack especially when the driving rain started again.
Fact - if you are going to bag Munros you will get very wet now and again!
