A good walk that was easy to follow and the directions guides from the website are pretty accurate.
The walk had steady up’s and downs. Clachnaben was a good climb in warm weather and got a sweat on, the walk from here to Mount Battock was a bit boggy in places and there are works going on which wasn't the prettiest to walk past. Great views from top of Mount Battock.
Weather turned colder on return journey but stayed dry. Good mixed walk and some views spectacular, others like a quarry. Saw no-one till Clachnaben on return journey where it got fairly busy as it is a local walk in it's own right.
Well worth a go in pleasant weather.
