Thanks guys when i first did the inn pinn in may i was sh***ng myself i thought i couldn't do this, i evern went without food for 24hrs i was that nervios about doing this. It turned out that because i had alot of help from my guide Graham Paterson (SKY HI) which i fully 100% recommend if anybody is looking for a guide for Skye is to use him as he was 1st class i managed to get to the top. I found getting to the top more difficult than getting lowerd down it, OOOOPS i nearly said absailing  . I then decided that i was wanting to do it again but only in good weather and did i get it i sure did. No more 24 huner strike yes a little nervious but again because of Graham i got up once more

Well you can do what i did and take a chance as i needed to go back and do the last 4 and the only real good day we had was on a thursday so we went and did Sgurr Aladair, Sgurr mhic Choinnich, & the inn pin. you just need to look at the forcast and pick the right day for it

I'm with the last post ! Never had much head for heights, people use to ask how the hell I got on with potholing which I did for 20 years....answer was simple its pretty much in the dark save for the headlamp ! And I've abseiled/SRT'd bigger than the In Pinn, 200 foot the biggest.

Given the SRT skills picked up in caving I even thought about using those to get up the Inn Pin if some good folk would let me use their rope to ascend. Always felt happy climbing a rope rather than climbing but with a rope in case !

So that will be the plan, ascend by a rope using SRT and at night.....simples !

Thats the way i did it when you do it in the mist you will feal you would like to do it when its clear. To tell you the truth if you get the right guide for it you shouldn't have a problem. At least when its clear you do get some cracking views and out comes the camera
