The hill range, Bennachie, in Aberdeenshire, is the a family favourite - I first climbed it when I was 6 years old. Of its several tops Oxen Craig is the highest with a height of 1733 feet, however I've always preferred the walk to its rocky and shorter neighbour, Mither Tap (1699 feet).

On this occasion we took in Oxen Craig, Mither Tap and also popped over to Craigshannoch before heading back to the car. The car park is easily accessible and the pathways are clear providing a straightforward hill walk. As such there is not much to say - hopefully the sunny photos will talk for me!

Good memories up there to.

First mountain I climbed which was when I was a young lad with my Dad. It might not be very high but it is a very nice experience.
