I'd been told this was an easy munro, which it probably was in terms of incline and paths. However true to form for most of my hill walking (given that I only took this up more seriously a month ago!) the top was immersed in cloud = poor visibility, rain and severe winds! Once again, so much satisfaction in reaching the top and the views do appear on the way down again The horse shoe cairn provided enough shelter to stop for lunch at the top.
Didn't take any pics this time though.. must get better waterproofing system for my phone/camera as they get pretty steamed up being in pockets!

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
