After another hearty breakfast at Station Lodge, Tulloch, we headed for this shorter trip on the way back home. This time I could see the summit in sunshine as we left the car park!
Fairly long walk and a stream to cross before getting to the climb though... by which time the clouds had returned. Joined a path part way up, having come through heather first. Incline got steeper, then flattened off at the top - where we disappeared in to the now familiar clouds. Sheltered behind the cairn for lunch stop, and adding layers to combat the added chill!
After initial descent, return to car park was particularly boggy/marshy underfoot so I got in some skating practice too
