Mam and Tam but missed Doire Ban

Started this walk from a small parking area just after Callert house and just at the point where Loch Leven narrows. There is a track from the layby but i chose to walk along the road a few yards and take the signposted path. Due to the recent rain the path was a bit boggy and slippy but would probably be ok after a spell of dry weather and further up it becomes stony. I stayed on the path till the bealach where there is a cairn and a path off to the right leading to the Corbett. Going by the well worn path i'd imagine this is a well walked Corbett, with the path leading all the way to the summit. From the summit i retraced my steps back to the bealach then made my way up to Tom Meadhoin. Tom Meadhoin was a differant story to Mam na Gualainn though, it being pathless over rough boggy and at times steep ground but not long to the summit. From the summit as with the Corbett you get some fine views of the Glencoe hills and The Mamores. After some lunch i made my way back to the bealach and back down the path to the car. On returning home i checked my os map and found i could easily have bagged the Marilyn, Doire Ban so was a wee bit peeved off at missing out on it. I highlight all the hills on my maps, Munros being one colour Corbetts another and so on but on this occassion i took one of two maps i have for this area and sods law i took the one without the highlighted Marilyn but as they say the hills aint going nowhere. All in it was nice short walk taking in a Corbett and a Graham with some nice views.
