Walked the length of loch muick ascending the zigzags and following an exlellent track for a while, in the early morning mist most of the way. Passing the pony hut and starting the final ascent to broad Cairn, weather was hotting up now and last of the cloud burning away! :D

After broad cairn the summits come thick and fast, its hard to belive the next 2 are munros, very little effort required to get to cairn bannoch, even overlooked it from top of broad cairn!!

note small rocky nipple cairn bannoch!

the next one cairn an t-sagairt mor was a mini milestone for me, 50th! required a bit more ascent to reach the top,

The previous days conquests over there somewhere!

then backtrack back down the way you ascended and follow route dropping a lot of height to reach a burn cross it then climbing back up. starts to level a bit and a cairn on your right marks the easy ascent to Carn a'choire bhoideach, a big flat summit, quick stop onwards to whole point of the day the glorious lochnagar! :D

Took a fair wack of effort to get to lochnagar, fighting the pain in my feet and the heat which was quite sapping, i swear the tan has only just faded!as we were approaching the summit passed countless people very popular hill, but we managed to get the summit to ourselves for a long while, was stunning!

then comes the staircase, must have taken some skill to construct, sapping on the legs then reach the bealach between meikle pap, which looks like its own munro!!from here its still a good few miles, from here i was dreaming off taking my boots off, eventually made it and was limping for days after, but all in a good cause!
