Not a challenging walk by any stretch but great fun in the snow.

We had initially planned to walk up Glas Tulaichean however on arriving at the Dalmunzie hotel we found they were planning in stalking in that area so a quick change of plan was needed.

Suz and I had ski toured up The Cairnwell and Carn Aosda before so only Carn a Gheoidh would be new to us but a walk is a walk so decided to head up.

The walk up The Cairnwell was only 30mins from the car park and easy enough although there was snow cover until quite low down which made it a bit harder esp for J.

The walk from here to Carn a Gheoidh was great fun the sun almost came out briefly lots of wild life about esp. hares which were partially changed from dark to white and were easy to spot.

The cloud almost cleared from An Socach across the baddoch burn.

Getting from Carn a Gheoidh to Carn Aosda was quite straightforward with the wind now behind us. On Carn Aosda we got a view down Glen Ey.

The run down the ski trail down to the car took 20 mins and great fun. This walk was great fun in the snow. J was pleased to have added 3 more munros to his total.

A grand wee walk to bag 3 munro's. Couldn't believe how The cairnwell could be spoilt so much by the buildings and masts. :( Good day out by the sounds of it :D

Yes lots of masts, buildings on the cairnwell and ski tows all over that spot a bit of an eye sore i'm afraid, however as a keen skier I shouldn't complain to much!
