Hi Pete, great report! I spotted the size of that cairn from Am Bathach just next door when we were up there in snow just a week ago..... :)

Great report Peter

I attempted these two in feb & only managed A'Chralaig.

Couldn't see a thing all day, still loved it though.

Regards

Great report PeteR, really stunning views all the way along there by the looks of it, I like the way you use 'Photo breaks' on the steep ascents.....I though I was the only one who did that

  These are the hills of the big cairns indeed. I was hoping for more snow to be honest, but some good views were perfect compensation. I think you'll all have a great time in the spring :D

Jonny, you have an excuse to return then, hopefully with blue sky and sunshine

Thanks Chris. Phot stops   Oh yes, I do them a lot on the steep bits. I do them alot on the flat bits too, but that's beacuse the views are magnificent and the wonders of digital photograohy make it so easy. Never a patch on your photos though, but everyone is a memory :D

Excellent report PeteR,
Brings back memories. Especially the boggy soaking hillside on the descent and the walk out, horrible  Great and unexpected ridge at the time though. Some nice photos. :D
