Hi Polly, Well done on plan B. The Glen Lyon folk have a history of not welcoming walkers into there territory. Apparently it was really bad years ago when tyres were being slashed etc but i think they are more tolerant now. When i done the four munros there was that old sign on the gate saying something like there was deer stalking taking place and could i bugger of and walk somewhere else hahaha. I was having none of it. In fact I walked in and inadvertently followed the track past the usual turning point and into the corrie and had to climb up the steep slopes to get to the first munro. Not a stalker in site. Plenty time for you to go back though :D Which Munro are you bagging for your 50th ? :D

Cheers Monty. Im intending on having another pop at Glen Lyon tomorrow. Surely they won't be shooting on a Sunday!! Got to be some law against that

If we get chased away we'll head over to Tarmachan and I'll get out another day to bag number 50!!

A wee cuddly toy in the rucksack so he(?) can have his photo at the summit of the munro. As a munro basher this is doing my image as a mountain man no good at all. Jock Nimlin will be fair birlin' in his grave
Smashing report I fairly enjoyed it.
