It beat me the first time I attempted it nearly 4 years ago. I finally made it second time around last week although I could have been anywhere such was the poor visibility

Emma,

You so made the right decision! My husband and I (oops I sound like the Queen  ) did the Glen Lyon horseshoe on Sunday and the conditions were awful at the top. I can honestly say that I would have returned after reaching the first summit if I had been by myself. I think that reassured my husband when I said that because he worries when I venture on my own :D

Feel free to give me a shout if you want any company. :D

Hope your mate is okay :(

As Ship's Medical Officer I recommend a course of leeches. Or even ; leeches, of course! Or I might volunteer to rub some ointment in...

Thanks for the offer Polly!

Hes got staples in his head and has lost a bit of his finger :( Could have been so much worse though. My friends that were with him had to pull him back off the edge of a ledge. Hes a very lucky man!

Sounds similar to my recent fail on Ben Cleuch. The weather turned in on me and i slid twisting my knee. All part of the learning process. :D
