Ben Vrackie

The sun had its hat on yesterday. So I decided to take advantage of this rare event and have a wonder up Ben Vrackie. I haven't been up in the hills for over a year and decided this Corbett would be perfect for a decent leg stretch.
A friend and I, along with my chocolate lab, set off from the Ben Vrackie/Bealach Walk car park and headed up through the trees which were showing the true colours of autumn.
We followed the obvious path all the way up to Loch a'Choire
After stomping up the stone stair way to the summit we were rewarded with some decent views and the sun was still shining. Although the wind chill was making itself known.
It was good to be back on the hills!!!
