0608 left home, arrived at Falls of Cruachan station 0800. Set off 0815, up stairs to tunnel under railway line, continued up to dam 0855.
Crossed dam and took path immediately on right around west shore to cairn at end, took path on far side of burn, followed this up to Coire Dearg. Continued up to bealach below Meall Cuanail, a small lochan here, turned right and followed path up to summit of Cruachan, marked by cairn and stump of former trig point.1035
After a brief stop and using gel hand warmer(forgot gloves) followed ridge east across slabs towards Drochaid Ghlas, didn't go to top but turned right at cairn and climbed down to reach ridge leading to Stob Diamh 1145.
Took bearing and turned south along ridge to Stob Garbh 1230.
Took a slight deviation here in the poor visibility, failing to take a compass bearing and ending up on ridge towards confluence of Allt Coire Chreachainn and Allt Coire Ghlass.
As i came out below cloud spotted error 1330 and changed course to traverse across SE face of Stob Garbh to reach bealach to N of Beinne a Bhuiridh, decided against climbing corbett and continued down towards reservoir, picking up path back to dam and continued on this east side to pylon on bend then followed deer fence down to path back to start.
Reached car at 1415.
Dry day, low cloud at 2,000ft, visibility down to 50m, strong winds on ridge, no views all day, frozen hands, no gloves used hand warmer.
