Howdy folks !!!

its been a while since i last done a walk report and since today was fantastic ive decided to take the plunge and do a report.

Me and big raymie set off from my hoose in exotic denny at 0815. After defrosting and scraping the windscreen that is.
Passed by loch venacher and couldnt believe how beautiful our wee country can be. We swiftly pulled over and scrambled down to the waters edge for a few wee photies.

Quickly got in the honda jazzmobile and arrived at advorlich at 0915.
Up and at em... off we go... lovely scenic place for photos at the farm and at the water mill.

wee red bush.. very nice indeed.

we followed the route as described and arrived at vorlich summit 3 hours later.... :(

yes i know... im a plodder and ive got gland problems which make me want to eat curries and drink beer all the time. hence why it took 3 hours.

However, not one to give in we had a short break and admired the views. The last time i was up here the weather vas very poor.

Stuc a chroin was looking might impressive and craggy. As im a big feartie, i had a quick check with raymie and we decided to go for it.

arrived at stuc a chroin summit 2 hours later and was compltely kaput.

went down to the bealach and turned right at the cairn. the sun started to go down at this point.

coffee break and started the long trek through the sludge. just as well my new boots were up to the job as it does get over your boots at points.

we arived back at the start point in complete darkness. It was a fantastic day oot on the hills. Long walk for me and raymie but well worth it. Raymies piles were playing up at this point and he was glad to end the walk.
Good luck with the operation next week bruv , fingers crossed eh??? you can fix them yourself with rubber bands i think.

Stuc a chroin was easier that described as long as you go to the left at the start of the loose scree.
If your looking for a long walk that is a bit challenging for your average bear then give this walk a try.
