Sun coming up behind the Sow of Atholl.

An early start, leaving the layby at just after 8.30 meant we had the hills to ourselves until nearly lunchtime by which time all you could see where people everywhere. On the ascent we saw three stags on the col between A'Mharconaich & Beinn Udlamain in silhouette & I came within a couple of feet of a hare - woke it up I think! Before I could get the camera out it was off....

Once on to the ridge the views were just getting better & better, I'll let the photos tell the story now

Beinn Udlamain summit at around noon was perfect for lunch as the cairn is constructed in a way that there is shelter whatever the wind direction - we even managed to be in the sun.
