The plan was to do Sgairneach Mhor and Beinn Udlamain on this trip, but we were making such good time we just kept going! I started with wet feet, having fallen off the stepping stones so ended up just wading through the stream only minutes after leaving the car!

First ascent was a fairly boggy path all the way, and this was the only summit of the day that we reached in cloud. By the time we were nearing Beinn Udlamain, the second summit of the day, there was already talk of just doing one more as it was on the way back round to the car anyway. A'Mharconaich, the third summit, was so flattened out it hardly felt like a hill walk by the time we reached this... so a few of us decided to continue to make the full set of 4 while the rest of our group headed home after the third one.

From summit 3 to the car park at the bottom of Drumochter's Geal Charn, our forth munro of the day, took just 1.5hrs followed by a 20-30min walk along the road side (on cycle track) to get back to the car. The final descent was steep so there was much bouncing in heather! Passed a few walkers who had done the same route in the other direction.
