Thanks again for the nice words and well wishes everyone.

Scott, if only I had any bit of spare room in my suitcases for extra bottles of Buckie. We'll see you on the other side!

Although we only met you briefly at Kintail it was a pleasure all the same, good luck on your travels back home and look forward to your return to Scotland. It looks like you got a great send off and a fine day on The Cobbler. Will see you on your return Arnold, as you say you'll be back :D

All the best

Ditto to the above comment by J&K. It was a pleasure big man! Have thoroughly enjoyed your reports over the last few years - this great site has been that little bit greater because of them. I look forward to the Smokies featuring regularly in the Outside Scotland section from now on. All the best!

Great report on what must have been an emotional day for you guys, and a great account on the power of the hills and how they can have a great positive effect on the mind. Your exploits with Gammy & Co. will be sorely missed by all of us, but especially by those who became part of your support group. Safe journey home, and look forward to your TR's from there.

Haste ye back!!

Stretch - dont be sad your time in Scotland is over, be glad it happened.
You made a lot of friends here, says a lot for you.

All the best for when you get back home

PS I loved your report on the Buchaille - I had a similar experience when I was in Iona so could understand your feelings

Cheers big man :D . Your efforts on organising the Glencoe meet will not be forgotten - just think what that weekend has spawned! A new chapter beckons, which I am sure will be as fulfilling as your Scottish one :) .
