Started the walk from the ghillies cottage opposite Glen Carron Lodge, we were staying here for the week. Walked to lay by which is the recognised starting point. Over the bridge and followed the path which petered out at times, the ground was very boggy for most of the ascent of Moruisg and cloud dropped just before we reached the top. An easy walk across flat plateau and descent before ascending a rocky path to the summit of Sgurr nan Ceannaichean by which time cloud had lifted to reveal magnificent views of the valleys below and back towards Moruisg. Descended by the alternative route on the stalkers zig-zag path on the south west side of the hill to the track running from Glenuaig Lodge to Craig beside the Allt a'Chonais, completing a full traverse of both of these hills. Checkout the bridge crossing Allt a'Chonais, it makes the 7K walk back to the main road worthwhile! Total distance covered, approximately 18k including a 3k walk on the main road back to ghillies cottage.

Summary, not the most difficult of Monroes but the scenery was well worth the effort, would recommend this walk to anyone.
