Started this walk from Meikle Forter farm opposite the Castle. I parked the car just along the road where there was enough space for one car at the entrance to a cottage, this was the only parking place i could find. The other option would be to seek permission to park at the farm itself or take an other route up this hill. From past experience in this area i have found parking to be few and far between. Once parked i walked back to the farm and took the track through the farm, leaving it to head over Carn an Fhidleir and onto the summit. Once off the main track you are on another track which takes you to a wall which leads to the summit, this wall being a good windbreaker for a break if required. Today conditions were extremely windy, with a bit of rain and sleet, with underfoot conditions quite good just a bit boggy at times. I came back down via the route up, returning to the car and driving round the corner to park up for Badandun Hill. As i'd read walk reports on here for Badandun Hill I knew parking would not be a problem. This walk starts by taking the Cateran Trail. I left the trail to head towards Cuingard and from there up the ridge to Badandun Hill. From the summit headed down the east slopes to pick up the landrover track which takes you back to the starting point.

Thanks MT it was nice after the sleet went off but it was bloomin windy though. Oooh only ten to go till completion for you, early next year completion date? Just think once you've complete, you can start having the pleasure of doing little hills like these :D
