Pretty straight forward Munro. Could have easily cycled most of the route before starting to climb. long track in was a bit of a dull slog, especially on the return. Weather was ok to begin with with intermitent views of the summit. I kept my fingers crossed that it would be cloud free when reached. Unfortunatly this was not the case and shortly after 750m a blizzard stated which soon became developed into near whiteout conditions with some of the fiercest gales ive ever encountered. im not sure what speed they were but i really struggled to stay upright and was blown over several times. I put on goggles and balaclava as the windchill was unbearable. I bascially tapped the summit cairn and hurried back down asap. The soft heather underfoot helped cushion the impact on my knees as i leap down the flank back to a bearable 700m. Very boggy past this point though through the grouse butts. Nearly lost my boot a couple of times. Ave temp was about -1. -9 at the summit.
