Great report that really gives the feeling of what it takes sometimes on these winter hills.

thanks all for the comments :D

it was a great winter walk but the 7km section was tough going in the conditions

as much harder as it is during winter i dont fancy a summer walk on these,apart from the summit views it may be a bit boring and boggy from what i've read

hopefully will make it to the hills next week if the roads are clear(fingers crossed)

its probably cause i'm so stubborn :lol:

after a 3 hr drive it would seem such a waste not to walk,even if the conditions are poor
