DROOL!

They aren't bad at all, these ones. My trip over the lot was fairly uninteresting, but a few years ago I had a sneaky stop-off to do the Sow and Sgairneach Mor on the way down the A9 one morning. It was a bit like this 8)

My other half tells me most of the snow has gone now - who organises this weather?

Excellent report Paul, sums up the day perfectly. Looking forward to Saturday - here's hoping we hit the jackpot again with the weather. I'll be giving the after walk refreshments a miss this week though! :? :(

It's OK - I'm sure there's plently left - just maybe not like this unfortunately. I don't think she's seen that much of the hills recently, and I doubt she'd notice anyway! Probably more a reference to the amount of low-lying stuff.

My plan: Carn na Caim and A'Bhuidheanach Bheag, I've been keeping them for a snowy day. Fingers crossed I'll get my chance... Couldn't do any serious hillwalking for over a month and my "Munro virus" is driving me crazy

Well it looks like we're doing them 2 also this Saturday and adding the 3rd to make a longer walk, which i know yous have done, so we may be able to say hello.....and exchange some hot mountain porn tales :D
I hope the nagging works and your Husband takes you a little wander up them hills. Think we're starting around 8.30am

We may just as well run into each other :D I'm not sure yet whether we'll go on Saturday or on Sunday (depends on how we organize Christmas shopping grrrr the activity I hate). We drive red Toyota Yaris, most likely we will be parking in the big layby on the west side of the A9, just past Wade Bridge.
As for "hot mountain porn tales" I've just finished reading "Summit fever" by Andrew Greig, a great book about some really big Himalayan climbing orgy   It got me into the right mood to tackle some hills.
