Hi, Dooterbang, looks like some more mountain porn?... :D This time with an addition of booze-party on the mountain top. An alternative definition to "having great fun on the hills".
We're hoping for some hillwalking during the New Year holidays as well... Weather forecast's so-so, but I keep my fingers crossed.

Great day out Doots. I went up the path for the Brack with my kids & had to give my youngest a piggy back up & down the steep bit at the begining lol

Nice report. I've wanted to do the Brack for a while. The day you did this one I was on the train through Arrochar wondering when I'll get up it. :)

Am I right in thinking you ascended the north side of The Brack? And you say there is a signposted route this way? I've never seen it done this way, but I'm keen to do it form the north, which seems like a better way to get back to the car than retrace south into that other valley you took.

Fairly certain you weren't in Elephant Gully which gets summer Difficult and winter III/IV in the guidebook so rather more than an easy snow plod in winter conditions.
