Some people tell me they are good for hill walking, some people say they would never use them for hill walking. Very confused! Cant afford winter boots and crampons just now but I think I might need to invest in a pair of micro spikes.

Hi Emma
I got them this time last year couldnt affored crampons there good in the hard conditions but do clog up in the soft snow but better than nothing if your going to get a pair they come in different sizes s/m/l.but if you can afford crampons mine were only £50 at go outdoors there doing a deal the now

Very cute report title.

Certainly near the top of my ' to do ' list - though I'll wait for a less challenging time of year.

I think I will keep my looking for crampon deals and go with the spikes just now as Im sure I will get plenty of use out of them in general over the winter months if the snow comes back like it did last year!

Corrie Fee is my favourite place in the world I have to say. My missus and I spend a week at the Glen Clova Lodges each November and the corrie is usually the first place I head. Breathtaking

Nice report :D
