Cairn Table - 20 January

Having visited Muirkirk throughout my childhood and my Great Uncle telling me tales of the 'Cairn Table Bears' and how they used to come down to his hut most nights, this was always on my to-do list! A crisp winter's day for this short climb.

Arrochar Alps - Easter Weekend

Took the train to Arrochar & stayed at the campsite for 3 nights. Here was my itinerary for the weekend:

Friday - Ben Vane
Saturday - Beinn Narnain & Beinn Ime
Sunday - The Cobbler

Walked through Glen Lyon on a roasting hot Good Friday, hazy views all round unfortunately

Beinn Narnain & Beinn Ime

Thankfully a little cooler for these two but nothing in the way of views from Narnain higher up

Now thers a novel idea....wait till end of year and blitz the reports

You could have added the cobbler when doing Narnain and Ime and taken the Sunday as a rest day....in the pub

You'd have to start in November!

The plan was to do the Cobbler on the Saturday and Ben Vorlich on the Sunday but my ankle was playing up on Beinn Ime so I had to change those plans. Still spent plenty of time in the pub mind you!
