Well done both in making it in those conditions, and in getting to no. 150.

Good to see Ghaordaidh maintaining the evil weather reputation! 8)

Nice wee write up there Tomsie...more than I thought you were going to put from the way you were speaking..."just add a few pics to your one i think" was how I recall it anyway.

I deliberately left out the pitiful attempt at sledging on the shovel...but wish I had gotten a video of it now!!

Alastair we only changed the route at the last possible moment, based on weather reports, knowing that no one else had responded to our meet post. That is not something I would usually do, not without warning anyway, but I think we made the right decision...

Great report enjoyed it.

Well done on the 150, I made the 100 too so my targets are 50 behind yours (Scoob999 is 50 behind me), I'll be aiming for 150 by end of this year I think, after initially aiming for the half way mark 140ish.

Targets are there to be broken Spider...I set out to reach 125 (last year now) but when I passed it I changed it to 141 (which had by then become halfway) and when I passed that it was 150 by the year end. Sadly I fell short of that (149) but still managed a respectable 65 Munro's for my year...If I can reach 200 by the time I stop in 2012 it gives me a great base to manage them all by the time i'm 45 (which has always been the REAL aim). But even if I dont it wont matter...who knows what's around the corner for any of us?? I will just keep plodding away, picking them off and writing up the blog as I go, for the sheer enjoyment of being out and doing it. :D :D

Was sorry to miss out on the chance to meet up (how is the strain??) but hopefully there will be other opportunities to come in the near future.
We were the VW Polo parked before the bridge (I did think that space was too small for the suggested four cars). :)

The strain turned out to be ok in the end, i had vision of being laid up for a couple of weeks but thankfully thats not the case. Will keep an eye on the meet ups for future walks.
Cheers and all the best
