friday the 6th of jan. i fancied another venture outdoors, being abit stiff from the previous day up the cairnwell, i fancied something not too far from home and not too difficult. recently, a guy in the local bar decided he was going to take up hillwalking and had in turn spend an absolute fortune on getting all the kit necessary, myself being a novice but him being even more so, i took him under my wing and he absolutely loves it.!!! the snow was deep powder near th bottom, turning into harder easier to walk on stuff as we got further up. not much else to say on it. was brilliant walk on a perfect day.

The summits on a little pile of boulders so you get a cracking view stood on the trig point, rather than one of those slightly rubbishy 'plateau' viewpoints - a good feeling of isolation

Did u see the 3 fish symbols intertwined carved on the rock at the topp.
This is a nice wee hill and well worth the effort when u get to the top.

If you go in spring-summer-autumn, try find a day after a few dry days cos we went after two days or rain and it was extremely boggy.
