Beinn Bhuidhe was a winter bogey hill for me too. I turned back twice on the hill and another once on the drive up due to inclement conditions. On one occasion I was within a couple of hundred metres of the summit but floundering in snow drifts and time running out on getting back down to the track in daylight. Eventually did it in summer instead.
